This gorgeous European winery wedding brought to us by Katja & Simon Photography is the epitome of Old World charm! Here’s the lovely bride to tell us more:

Villa Fabiani, Kobdilj, Slovenia once renowned as one of the most majestic wine estates with a 600-year tradition, it is now known as the birthplace of architect Max Fabiani. The combination of partly renewed buildings, courtyards, gardens, the park and the vineyard creates a breath-taking heaven on earth.

See more after the cut!

The reception and dinner were placed on the main courtyard in front of Villa where the 600-year-old mulberry tree stands. A church ceremony was in Štanjel church of St. Daniel. Civil ceremony has also taken place on the estate at the pond in the park. We both love Kars and we both love the history and love story beneath the estate.

Since I participated in the renovation project I know all the corners of the estate. So it was not hard to plan every detail for a dream wedding. Since we organized everything by ourselves, our family and close friends came to the wedding venue a day early to help them out. Everyone helped in some way or other and they had so much fun, just during the preparation. I was truly grateful for all of them and really loved the planning wedding process.

Congratulations to the happy couple and thank you Katja & Simon Photography for sharing! For more information about Katja & Simon Photography, please visit their WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile.
