Check out this beautiful styled shoot by One Fine Day Events! A little about the inspiration behind this shoot:
We wanted to create a few different versions of a table design for the mountain-inspired bride looking for a creative approach for her high country wedding. We designed fresh looks to appeal to her “Woodland Chic” side or inspire her “Mountain Sleek” side. We created (3) sets and showcase two whimsical interpretations of each set. Each set has one overall theme – Moody Blues, Snow Drift, and Green Envy – but the styling is re-designed to create two dueling looks. The Woodland Chic interpretations incorporate rustic, homey, and playful touches, while the Mountain Sleek designs speak of a modern, tailored yet unexpected influence. One of our main goals was to illustrate how a few simple changes to detail can completely evolve the vibe of a table or design.

Moody Blues: Blue is a favorite of brides as an accent color – but why not make a statement and let the moods of blue be showcased? We paired deep navy with rich gold for a warm, dramatic feel. The Rustic and Sleek interpretations both feature a twist on the traditional centerpiece where the flowers are suspended above, up-lit by a romantic flood of candlelight centered on the table. Our favorite details from the Woodland Interpretation: hand-dipped wax silverware, an assortment of bottle candle holders, a bouquet twist of mixing paper and fresh flowers, pattered linen and stationary. Our highlights from the Sleek inspiration: matte gold stemware with coordinating flatware, tinted-water floral chandelier, sequined tablecloth, & ruffled chair caps.
Snow Drift: In this set we created a clean and fresh vibe with wintry nuances. We’ve focused on snowy white with punches of red and touches of either pewter or tan. Both interpretations feature the same flower centerpiece, modern white water glasses and drifts of snow, but beyond that the details begin to vary. Our favorite Woodland details: feathered friends, red coasters for the white water glasses, & the centerpiece in a bark vase. Our favorite Sleek details: silver-dotted china, red woven chair backs, and stylish modern stemware.
Green Envy: This set is organically driven in style and showcases a play with textures in shades of green and nude. Our favorite details from the Woodland Inspiration: mix and match seating, assorted “nature” orbs, terrarium-style centerpieces, & faux bois seating cards presented in drawer knob holder. Highlights from the Sleek Inspiration: clean, architectural centerpiece, classy swirled-print linen, & overhead candlelight. We were also lucky enough to have Sky from XOXO Video join us on this project as well. She has made a short behind-the-scenes film capturing the day throughout a very detailed photo shoot.
