Check out this beautiful styled shoot by PEAR Planning! A little about the inspiration behind this shoot:
The bride and groom met while Kasia was bartending at MagPie while Wally was a customer. They have a dog Mila they adore…
See the entire styled shoot after the cut!
The Bride is 100% Polish and the Groom is 100% Ukrainian and both heritages were represtented heavily at the reception: The bread and toast when entering the reception as a blessing from both parents is Ukrainian and the meat cart with homemade pickles and a whole roasted pig for a midnight snack are Polish traditions.
The Bride hand made the bar signs and created the seating chart out of old windows, hung from the second story over a memorial table with photos of their parents wedding and grandparents. She also DIY’d the table numbers by slicing an old branch into coasters and resting the number inside. She also used herbs in a small jar to place her chalkboard table settings at the head table.
Friends and relatives traveled across the country and world to attend, with 400 guests the dancing never stopped. Traditional Ukrainian dancing ended the night and everyone was happy! The Main Street Armory provided excellent food and service.
