Today’s real wedding, brought to us by wedding stationer Michael Coxen of Paper and Home is the perfect blend quirkiness and refinement! Here’s more about the wedding from Rissa of Scheme Events:
It never ceases to amaze me how each and every Springs Preserve wedding has its own style, point of view and makes the venue shine in a completely new way! Sara & Keaton hosted their friends and family on a beautiful May evening at Springs Preserve and gave it their own spin. The day was filled with memorable moments, from their best friend officiating one of the most impressive wedding ceremonies we’ve witnessed, to having Sara’s brother send a video toast from thousands of miles away. To know Sara and Keaton in a day-to-day setting is only to know a portion of who they really are. Get to know them on a dance floor and the party really gets started!
See more after the cut!
These two have been together for years, first meeting in robotics class in high school. Darling robot icons created by Paper and Home dotted their stationery pieces. Lace wedding details were incorporated into tables and centerpieces. Sara carried a stunning bouquet of peonies, succulents, roses and dusty miller created by Floral Couture by Floral 2000. After enjoying dinner, guests danced under the bistro lights by LED Unplugged to the tunes of DJ Mike of High Flyin’ Entertainment. Norina of Maple Hill Photography captured images that perfectly reflect the happiness, warmth, and love felt throughout the entire day!
Norina of Maple Hill Photography has this to say:
I love when I walk into a wedding and already feel like family. Years ago I had the privilege of taking the Salame’s (the bride’s family) portraits, then last year I received the call from Sara “I’m finally engaged!” Follow that with an amazing engagement session and through all the chats and emails in between, I have grown to absolutely adore this couple! Sara and Keaton are a couple of the most genuine people I’ve ever met and I can say the same for their friends and family too. Everything was perfect about this day. The clouds rolled in, without raining, bringing cooler temps and beautiful light throughout the day. Of course, having Rissa and Francesca with Scheme Events running the show makes everything a lot more fun and beautiful!
One of my two most favorite moments was when Sara saw herself in her wedding dress, all done up, for the first time. She was so overwhelmed that she cried. It was so beautiful… she looked absolutely lovely… I cried too! It’s easy to see why Keaton is so in love with her. Not only is Sara warm, kindhearted and beautiful, but she’s wicked smart too! My other most favorite moment was watching Keaton hit the dance floor (perhaps with a little help from the good old faithful ‘liquid courage’ ;). I have to admit, I had basically wrapped Keaton up in a refined, neat little package. But let me tell you, Keaton celebrated his wedding day like a rockstar — in great taste as always! I think its safe to say, this couple has a beautiful and ‘entertaining’ life a head of them.
Congrats to Sara & Keaton and thank you Michael for sharing! Are you looking for the perfect stationer for your quirky yet elegant wedding? If so, please be sure to check out Paper and Home’s WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile or head straight to their website.
