Black and Gold Great Gatsby Wedding Invitation Suite (8)

We’re absolutely loving this elegant, vintage wedding invitation suite brought to us by Brown Fox Creative, based in Fort Worth, TX! Here’s Brown Fox Creative to tell us more:

Elizabeth’s Great Gatsby-themed wedding wouldn’t be complete without an art deco invitation to match. We went classic with black, white and gold color scheme. Intricate line-work and patterns that are synonymous with the roaring twenties carry throughout the suite. To bring a special touch to the invitation we went with an odd, tall and skinny shape, and metal-like backing layer.

This glamorous Art Deco wedding invitation suite comes to us from Melissa of Cupcake Graphics, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! Here’s Melissa to tell us more:

The inspiration behind our invitations began with our wedding theme: The Great Gatsby. Why The Great Gatsby, you ask? Well, a little background about my fiancé: he has an old soul. It is one of the qualities I love most about him.  He loves tradition and values the company of those much older than him.  He’d rather listen to the classics than today’s top 20. His idea of an enjoyable evening is going out for a nice dinner with great wine, an espresso and maybe a card game or two. He loves cigars, scotch, getting dressed up, meeting new people and good conversation. People are drawn to him because of his welcoming smile and aura. I’ve always said he was born in the wrong decade–hence, the reason for our 1920s-inspired wedding.
