Kelsey + Chris’ intimate backyard wedding was definitely a special one. Kelsey is studying interior design and it showed with each detail of this day. They had spray painted gold toy dinosaurs and started the ceremony with the theme song to Jurassic Park, which actually as a violin instrumental was really beautiful!

Stephanie and Frederick won our hearts at their engagement session earlier this year in Winter Park. The beautiful couple tied the knot in a medium size ceremony in Frederick’s parents home in Merritt Island last week. Backyard weddings seem to be becoming more and more popular for 2016 and 2017 and it makes perfect sense to me.

When I met Paul & Brandie I immediately loved what they were about. See, they had planned a BIG quintessential Ann Arbor wedding – big bridal party, Ann Arbor venue, 200+ people, – the whole shebang. When they added up all the costs for such a wonderful affair they took a hard look at the numbers and said, “Do we want a big wedding or should we instead use that money and buy a place to call HOME?” So that’s what they did.
