Opulent Gothic Wedding Inspiration (10)

We’re absolutely swooning over all the amazing details in this moody styled shoot, brought to us by Prêt à Papier, based in Dubai, UAE! Here’s Prêt à Papier to tell us more:

Gothic Romance styled shoot inspired by the dark and moody colours of fall and with the weather changing and festivities in the air, we chose to go with maroons, deep burgundy and mix it with this season’s black and gold. It was just in time for Halloween but the blend of colours seems to fit in well with this time of the year, when everyone is in the mood to glam it up and put out the sparkle.

Today’s wedding stationer interview is with Reesha of Prêt à Papier, based in Dubai! Enjoy:

How did you get started doing wedding invitations?

I have always loved working with paper, colour and interesting materials and this led me to pursue a Fine Art degree in Graphic Design. When my career started I dove straight into the world of corporate communication design but I realised how much I missed the freedom of working on creative projects when a co-worker asked me to design his wedding invitations. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs I always knew I wanted to do something that would allow me to convert my passion for design and entertaining into a successful business. I found myself creating personalised stationery for friends and family events, dinners, kid’s parties and eventually wedding invitations and the word spread. Now I  design wedding invitations for my clients all over the world.
