I had the best time designing this urban styled shoot with NYC brides in mind. Wanting to highlight the raw + urban vibe of the space, it felt only natural to juxtapose the rough textures and hard lines of the venue with light and bright colors to soften the space. I really love how the vendor team took this vision and ran with it. It was so much fun seeing it all come together day of, with their hard work and talent.

Alex and Megan are college sweethearts as they met when they were both students at North Carolina State University. When it came time to choose their wedding venue there was no hesitation for them to pick a location only a few blocks away from their beloved alma mater. Like NCSU, The Stockroom at 230 is located in the heart of Downtown Raleigh and both are historical pieces that play a part in making up the character of their beloved city.

This watercolor themed styled shoot took place at Pinstripes event center. From bowling and bocce ball to scenic views, this venue makes for the perfect place to host a wedding. The flowers were elequently displayed with their lively colors complimenting the watercolor theme.
