This stunning letterpress wedding invitation comes to us from Michael Coxen of Paper and Home, based in Las Vegas, Nevada! Here’s Michael to tell us more:
Amy and Jeremy’s collection set the tone for a romantic garden wedding. We incorporated touches of hand calligraphy and whimsical floral details throughout their invitation set. The couple chose a soft cotton stock for their collection with two color letterpress printing.
Today’s wedding stationer interview is with Brooke Coxen of Paper and Home, based in Las Vegas, Nevada! Enjoy:
How did you get started doing wedding invitations?
Ever since I was a little girl, I enjoyed card stores and all the pretty rows of paper. I appreciated all of the design details and the tactile nature of paper. I knew I wanted to do something with stationery, so I pursued a degree in graphic design in Southern California. I eventually worked at a graphic design studio specializing in wedding invitations when I lived in New York. I loved being part of the wedding planning process for couples and enjoyed how each project was unique to their personalities.
Today’s featured wedding invitation is a beautiful, rustic suite. But wait, there’s more! Custom signage to accompany all of the sweet, thoughtful details of the day. Here’s stationery designer Michael Coxen of Paper and Home to tell us the designs and the inspiration behind them:
Ashley and Brian were married at a Quivira Vineyards and Winery in Healdsburg, California. We worked with their wedding planner, Courtney of When Pigs Fly Events, to help carry out her vision of a barnyard chic wedding.
