Stylish Wedding Invitations by RSVP to me (4)

These lovely wedding invitation suites come to us from RSVP to me based in Allendale, NJ. We love the variety of styles and options that are available! Here’s RSVP to me to tell us more:

Vintage Chic

This timelessly chic wedding invitation suite was designed for ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Pro Lindsay Arnold and her now husband, Sam Cusick. The invitations for the couple’s evening wedding needed to be simple and timeless. We designed a stationery suite that is straight-forward, using cream cardstock atop layers of champagne and gold glitter backings, highlighted with blush pink accents and trademarks of antique-type applique (striking blush banners and floral flourishes).

Meet a Wedding Stationer in Cinnaminson, NJ: Shelly's Touch (2)

Today’s wedding stationer interview is with Michelle Nicosia Coyle, Owner and Creative Director of Shelly’s Touch, based in Cinnaminson, NJ. Enjoy!

How did you get started doing wedding invitations?

I graduated in 2007 from The Art Institute of Philadelphia with a BS in graphic design. My first job out of college was a graphic designer at Blue Tulip in Princeton, NJ. This was a retail location that had wonderful gifts and accessories. They also had a whole section of their store dedicated to invitations. We were able to set up our own proofs and print everyday occasions on site. I also worked with brides using our albums, but we could do custom as well. I would always talk brides into letting me do something custom! This is the place where I truly fell in love with paper. I was only employed there for a year when they suddenly laid me off and went out of business. The disappointed brides became my first clients. I decided to work for myself, doing what I loved.

RSVP

Today’s wedding stationer interview is with Jackie Asta, designer and owner of RSVP Custom Creations, based in Montvale, New Jersey.

How did you get started doing wedding invitations?

In 2006 I ordered my daughters 1st birthday invitations on Ebay. When I received them I thought to myself “I can do this”. After a few months of researching invitation software, printers and card stock, I started designing children’s birthday party invitations. I had my first sale on Ebay and I still remember the design and the buyer’s name. As I got more comfortable in my designs, I branched out to baby showers, bridal showers, weddings, etc.
