This couple was a delight to work with, as they were super sweet and fun. They brought an Asian spin to their wedding details to tie in their combined heritage and two becoming one. For example, all of the place card holders were the Chinese symbol of love.

On a crisp morning last spring, Jamie (a foodie/restaurateur) + Dan (a tennis pro/multi-marathon-runner) were getting ready at the maritime hotel in NYC for a very important day. We followed them all over Chelsea, up to the roof of studio 450 and eventually down the aisle for their happy ceremony.

We love Manhattan’s East Village so much and really wanted keep that raw, industrial vibe that Bathhouse Studios gives, making use of the photo studio backdrop and exposed brick walls, whilst still making sure the wedding looked pretty and special. Our wedding planner Isabel nicknamed the style ‘feminised industrial/industrial garden’ and she was absolutely implacable when it came to finding the absolute best service-ware and props within the budget to create the look.

Benee and John’s fun-filled day started with their ceremony and the appropriately-named theater, Celebration of Whimsy, in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. After, we walked around the neighborhood with them and their bridal party, taking photos along the way, ending at Paloma Rocket for a a couple pints and celebratory toasts.

Ally and Greg are from Australia, but they had the destination wedding of their dreams in New York City surrounded by close family and friends. Ally – the bride – even got to tap into her creative side and designed all the stationery herself! They tied the knot at Ladies Pavilion in Central Park and then took photos at iconic New York City locations, such as Bethesda Terrace and Fountain, Flatiron building, New York Public Library, and Brooklyn Bridge/DUMBO. Low-key and fun, it was the perfect intimate big-city destination wedding.

Niki and George held their destination wedding in Central Park last June at the Ladies Pavilion. Close friends and family gathered to watch the couple exchange vows in a ceremony that included special traditions to honor their Greek heritage. After the wedding, everyone enjoyed a picnic lunch and then continued the celebration with a fun dinner at the Ink 48 Penthouse.
