This super sweet and stylish engagement shoot, brought to us by Zoomworx (Hyattsville, MD) incorporates a wonderful variety of striking backdrops and outfit changes! Here’s Kay, the groom to be, to tell us more:
We met in our church R.C.C.G Christ Chapel. She had newly joined the church, and since the first day I met her, I was struck by her beauty and natural calmness, but we had barely said a word to each other.
This lovely rustic engagement shoot comes to us from Samantha Ong Photography, based in Toronto, ON! Here’s Samantha to tell us more:
Laura and Jim met through mutual friends and have known each other for many years. They love being outdoors together, enjoying dinner while watching the sun set around a campfire. I love the way that they describe how much they mean to each other – that they are each other’s everything. For their engagement session, Laura wanted a setting in a field surrounded by wildflowers.

Jillian and Bobby have the sweetest and most well thought out proposal story. While they met in scuba class right here in Roswell, GA, Bobby waited for an opportunity to propose out of state in Seattle, Washington while Jillian was away on a business trip.

What’s their favorite thing to do as a couple? One word: Travel. In the 2 short years of their courtship, the couple has globe trotted through Europe, wined and dined through the states and kicked back in the Caribbean. For their honeymoon, the happy couple will be island hopping in the Greek Isles.
Today’s charming engagement shot comes to us from Bob Mackowski of Open Aperture Photography, based in New Bern, NC! Here’s Bob to tell us more:
Ernie’s proposal to Erin took place next to the fountain in James Reed Lane, a notable local alleyway, in historic downtown New Bern. As far as Erin knew, it was supposed to be a couples’ portrait of the two of them. It started out like that with us taking a couple portraits.
Rolling hills and fields of wild flowers set the scene for this romantic engagement shoot, brought to us by Jerrick of Three16 Photography, based in Fullerton, California! Here’s Jerrick to tell us more:
It’s always nice to get wedding photography jobs from people I never met before, but when it’s for someone you know, it makes it a little nicer. And when that person is more than someone you just know, then shooting their engagement photo session and now their wedding is even bigger than even I thought. Thus the story with my good friend Matt.
This sweet and stylish engagement shoot comes to us from Photography by Micahla Wilson, based in Shreveport, LA! Here’s the lovely bride-to-be to tell us more:
As soon as Dusty popped the question on May 31, 2015 I started planning our engagement pictures. I knew I didn’t want just any run of the mill pictures and I knew exactly who I wanted to capture them. Micahla was such a big help from texting pictures and ideas to one another, to having secret Pinterest boards to make our vision come alive.
This beautiful seaside engagement shoot comes to us from Olga Padron of Scribbled Moments Photography, Inc., based in West Palm Beach, FL! Here’s Callan, the lovely bride to be, to tell us about the proposal:
Adam asked if he could take me out for a romantic dinner–no rhyme or reason. I thought to myself, “How sweet–man do I love this guy!”. As we went out to one of out favorite spots–Casablanca Cafe–and parked the car. He asked if I would accompany him on the beach for a brief walk.
This lovely outdoor engagement shoot comes to us from Michelle Lieb of Lieb Photographic LLC, based in Culpeper, Virginia! Here’s Michelle to tell us more:
Haf and David both met as educators…Haf a classroom teacher and David a principal. The two are both outstanding educators and an incredible couple with a LOT of chemistry who really enjoy being with each other. So when I asked them to jump into a swarm of gnats in order to create the perfect magical shot, they both agreed and saw it as more fun and humored me. I can’t wait to photograph their Brandy Hill Farm wedding next year, which will bring Haf’s family from England together with David’s family as the two tie the knot!
