This stunning black tie wedding comes to us from Joseph Kohn of IQPhoto Studio, based in San Francisco, CA! Here’s Joseph to tell us moe:
It happened in Las Vegas and now it’s not staying in Las Vegas. Negeen was there on a girls’ weekend, up from Los Angeles, and Paul was on holiday from Australia. So they were both in Las Vegas but how did they meet? Negeen approached Paul inside a Las Vegas nightclub. He couldn’t believe his eyes when he turned to see her standing there. That was it!
Evonne & Darren Photography is an expression of our personal vision. We photograph weddings and portraits with a contemporary fine art approach, using traditional film with modern developing and digital scanning technology to achieve the aesthetic you see here. We live in Northern California, which inspires us with its scenic vistas from the rugged coastline to rustic Napa Sonoma wine country, the perfect sunlit outdoor environment to be film photographers. We love the look of analog film because it can produce gorgeous pastel-like colors and grain, allowing us to create timeless photos that are elegant, soft, organic and romantic. As a real life husband and wife wedding photography duo, we not only document the beauty and special moments of your wedding day, but also provide directions in a way that encourages our couples and guests to interact authentically and candidly.
This gorgeous Bay Area wedding comes to us from Cindi Stephan of Two Irises, based in San Francisco, California! Here’s Cindi to tell us more:
The romance began in 2008, when Joshua was stationed in Japan with the U.S. Navy and attended a friend’s barbecue and met Yuka – it was love at first sight! He proposed in March of 2012 during a romantic evening filled with candles and wine.
This sophisticated, desert-chic styled shoot comes to us from Liza Head of Juniper Spring Photography, based in the San Francisco Bay Area! Here’s Liza to tell us more:
This styled shoot was inspired by look and feel of the Ruth Bancroft Gardens. The succulents and cacti formed a beautiful and eclectic backdrop for a Spanish ranch inspired wedding. We chose a bright rainbow of colors for the details – from the dessert table, to the flowers to the dishes and hand-painted maracas – to stand out against the green and muted tones of desert plants. The ranch-inspired wood and stone elements bring a modern rustic flair.
