This gorgeous Icelandic proposal, complete with tear-jerker video, comes to us from Adam Mason of Mason Photography, based in Washington, DC!
During a trip to Iceland while I was shooting Instagram photos for a car rental company, the best thing happened – Sara and I got engaged! This was my third time to Iceland, but first time with Sara, so of course I had to show her all the beautiful landscapes (and capture the moments as well). We had four days, so with little time to spare, we landed, grabbed a rental car and drove the entire country in less than three days.
This gorgeous red and white winter vow renewal comes to us from Marianne Blackham Photography, based in Washington, DC! Here’s Marianne to tell us more:
Set in the middle of snow-covered D.C., this January vow renewal put a vintage twist on the modern architecture of the American Institute of Architects. The setting and décor were perfect for the couple that wanted a classic event with a little bit of edge. The ceremony took place outside with snow still covering the city. Bride Hayley had a classic, sparkling, white ball gown, topped off with a fancy, vintage up-do by Liz Miiller Beauty, a dainty garter from The Garter Girl, and a luxurious wedding cape to keep warm. Hayley and Luke endured the cold for a romantic ceremony, officiated by Larissa Parks and with music from the Dapper DJs, before heading inside the institute for an even more romantic reception.
This gorgeous rustic winter wedding comes to us from Mason Photography, based in Washington, DC! Here’s more about the wedding from Mason Photography:
There are weddings where even while you’re photographing, you think to yourself “this is special”. For Chris and Melissa’s snowy Barn at Klines Mill Wedding, there were SO MANY of those special moments. From the tear-filled vows that Chris gave from the heart, to the speech Melissa’s father gave, and of course the fun of shooting in the snow. The entire day, my heart and memory cards were full.
This vibrant and elegant wedding comes to us from Kathleen Hertel Photography, based in Washington, DC! Here’s Tracy, the lovely bride, to tell us more:
We wanted our wedding to be a reflection of who we are as a couple. Every aspect of our wedding we planned together so when the day came not only were we surrounded by our friends and family, we were surrounded by the love and memories that we created.
