We decided to brave the snow storm last week and take advantage of the winter beauty by creating a styled Little Red Riding Hood bridal shoot! We just couldn’t resist pairing the lush burgundy shades against the white snow, so we decked out a dessert table for two in the forest filled with pastries, berries and vintage china and dressed our model like a fairy tale dramatis personae that Brothers Grimm would be proud of.

A soft snow blanketed picturesque New England wedding with a romantic wash of white. Willowdale Estate’s naked stone and rich woodwork was the perfect setting for our couple, Cassie and Dave. Along with their winter inspired color palette of white, forest green and crimson, they also incorporated beautiful items from their travels and life together. The bride’s jewelry – pearls purchased in Dubai and an heirloom ring passed down by her grandmother, made her accessories so special.

There are weddings where even while you’re photographing, you think to yourself “this is special”. For Chris and Melissa’s snowy Barn at Klines Mill Wedding, there were SO MANY of those special moments. From the tear-filled vows that Chris gave from the heart, to the speech Melissa’s father gave, and of course the fun of shooting in the snow. The entire day, my heart and memory cards were full.

Melanie grew up in the church that Michael currently attends. Six years ago she returned to that church and met Michael in some youth groups. They became friends and after about three years, they began to date.
This gorgeous backyard wedding comes to us from Alison Epps Photography, based in Dunedin, Florida! Here’s Rebecca, the lovely bride to tell us more:
We should have met through friends (most of my friends were his friends), at work (we worked in the same Amazon building), or simply in passing (we lived across the street). Instead, we met at church, which we think is pretty stinkin’ neat.
This stylish wedding, brought to us by Kate Wenzel Photography, shows just how lovely winter weddings can be! Here’s Kate to tell us more:
Worth the wait. Kolleen, as self-described, had high standards for her soul mate. When you are as smart, beautiful and kind as she is, those standards should be high. She caught Stephan’s eye quickly while they worked together. While it took a little more time for Kolleen, once she saw him for all his qualities she was hooked.

Josh and Jerad had been dating for 9 years. In the fall of 2014 they decided that January 8, 2015 was going to be their wedding day as that was their anniversary! Quick planning was in order to pull off a wedding within 2 months, however, with all their closest friends and themselves as wedding professionals it was doable :-) The couple wanted to create something amazing that they haven’t been able to do at other weddings – they own buds n bloom design studio. They decided on having a small, intimate winter scene with a lot of candle light, warmth, bling and blooms! The result was breathtaking – guests were indulged in amazing food, picturesque decor and flowers and the love of two amazing men.
