Today’s gorgeous real wedding comes to us from Stephane Lemieux Photography, based in Montreal, Canada! Here’s Stephane to tell us more:

The wedding of Elise and David will remain memorable for several reasons, but among other things for having been caught in the turmoil of a microstorm during the cocktail. The sky suddenly covered and in a matter of minutes or seconds, the winds unleashed in what looked more like a tornado or a tropical storm. The guests, employees, and myself had to sneak into the building to shelter us. However, one could say that this fortuitous event had almost no impact on the course of the day. Indeed, the cocktail was rather at its end.

See more after the cut!

Now, let’s go back a little earlier at the beginning of the day, where our journey as wedding photographer started. We were invited to the preparations of the bride and groom who were at Lhotel in Old Montreal where Elise and David were preparing in different rooms accompanied by their respective groomsmen and bridesmaids. A first look was planned outside the hotel, followed by a walk of the bride and groom in company of their friends in the streets of Old Montreal.

We then went to the Club de Golf Saint-Raphaël where the ceremony and reception were held, and in both cases in a dream setting. The Saint-Raphaël houses a marquee, a view of the golf course as well a s several waterfalls and gardens. For the ceremony, which evidently took place outside under a still radiant time, everything went beautifully under the soft gaze of friends and families invited to this great wedding. Several speeches were followed to give way to the first kiss of the bride and groom.

Of course, I always take advantage of the moment following the ceremony to immortalize a group picture including all the newlyweds and their guests. And also, to make wonderful family portrait images. The couple session followed on the site of the Saint-Raphaël, accompanied by an employee. We have travelled through the golf course allowing us to seize some pictures of complicity of our star couple.

The reception took place in a masterful way with the team of DJ Frank for an unrivalled animation, where the guests and the newlyweds spent unforgettable moments. My most sincere congratulations to Elise and David for a more than successful wedding. I wish them all the happiness they deserve.

Congratulations Elise & David and thank you, Stephane, for sharing! For more information about Stephane Lemieux Photography, please visit his WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile.
