IJORERE Atelier is an elegant event space located in Elgin, IL. I just love all of the exotic details!
Opening IJORERE Atelier seemed like an inevitable path for me. For the past 15 years I’ve been in the design and construction industry. Architecture will always be my first love, so I knew, whatever I got my hands into, would ultimately involve creative designing. While working as an architect, I ran a couture stationery business called IJORERE The Invitation Inc.
See the beautiful venue after the cut!
Recently, I resigned and left behind my career working as an architect in pursuit of my dream job. Having 3 little ones required more flexibility, so I decided to be a momtrepreneur instead.
Having an event venue presents the perfect combination of being intricately immersed in the both the back and front end of my client’s grand occasion. I’ve been fortunate enough to have formed great relations with my out-of-state & international clientele and now I can connect locally, offering an upscale venue to match the couture invitations I also design.
IJORERE Atelier [pronounced e-jaw-ray-ray] is located in the heart of downtown Elgin. My loft space is within what used to be the old Sears building and has a lot of historic value. I am so in-love with the eclectic and vintage feel of this mixed use building. My space was completely renovated, so I had the fantastic opportunity of designing and layout out everything exactly the way I wanted from floor to ceiling to every little interior décor detail. It was so pleasurable, watching everything come to live and together!
At IJORERE Atelier, guests will enjoy a sophisticated ambience and experience luxury. I am confident offering a premise for intimate affairs is exactly the kind of exceptional style that City of Elgin welcomes. IJORERE Atelier is currently the “talk of the town” and is well received by all.
I look forward to hosting beautiful affairs at IJORERE Atelier, making connections, creating and doing what I love to do.
