Tell us a bit about your venue.
We are located in the heart of Downtown Phoenix’s urban-chic Warehouse District with 10,000 square feet of flexible interior space and a 1,500 square foot, beautifully landscaped patio.

What makes your business unique?
Our building is actually 100 years old, built in 1918 as a linen laundry. There aren’t many historical buildings in Phoenix, so our venue has a really unique vibe that is hard to find in this city. The building is filled with original brick walls, wood-beam bow truss ceiling and clerestory windows and has been converted into modern, multi-functional spaces, enhanced with crystal chandeliers and sparkling bistro lights.
Do you target any particular niche?
Not really, we welcome all types of clients. Our venue is really a blank canvas for our clients to use their creativity. We host weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, mitzvahs, trade shows, proms and much more!
What’s your favorite part of the job?
I absolutely love meeting new people and working with them on something they’ve envisioned in their minds. Whether we have a bride on her special day or a corporate cocktail party, I strive to make sure everything goes off without a hitch. Seeing all the components come together day-of, that results in an amazing final product, is extremely rewarding.
How do you help couples customize their weddings?
When I meet a couple for the first time and take them on a tour of the space, I like to ask some questions to get an idea of their style and preferences. We have had the pleasure of working with so many amazing vendors in the valley, so I am able to recommend specific vendors that match the couple’s vision. It’s important to help paint them a mental picture of what their wedding could look like. Since we have such a open space, there is a lot you can do with it to make it your own.
Do you have any funny stories about a past wedding or event?
We hosted a wedding where the groom brought a live bull to give to the bride’s parents as dowry. He brought everyone to the patio and gave a speech about how he got to know her parents. They were from South Africa and at some point mentioned to him that giving dowry to the bride’s parents was customary, so he brought in a bull!
What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
Basically how important it is to be upfront about everything from the start. That includes, pricing, packages and what they can expect from us on the day of their wedding/event. This sets the scene for a smooth process from start to finish.
Any tips for brides on the hunt for a venue?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Booking a venue is a huge commitment, you want to make sure it has everything you’re looking for and that, most importantly, you are happy on your wedding day.
