This playful and stylish engagement shoot comes to us from Catherine Dumontet Photographe, based in Montreal, QC! Here’s Catherine to tell us more:
Maggie and Eric got engaged this year even though they’ve been together for more than a year now. They met through friends seven years ago. They are planning a wedding in 2016 and are at the beginning of it all. They want to get married in the beautiful city of Quebec, near the Frontenac Castle. I know Maggie because of the astonishing work she does as a florist for ”les Fleurs du Marché” in Beloeil, 30 min. from Montreal, Quebec.
See more after the cut!
She also specializes in weddings, same as I. Before the engagement shoot, I saw lots of pictures of her with Eric and thought they looked so much in love with one another. I think it shows in their pictures! We planned this engagement shoot for weeks using Pinterest Board for inspirations. We wanted something with an old barn, with a country ”feel”. Maggie has a lot of tattoos so she wanted to dress with vintage clothes, printed flowers etc. She also did different flower bouquets as if she were picking them in the field. The idea of it all was ”A day in the country” finishing it with a picnic surrounded with corn.
Congratulations Maggie & Eric and thank you Catherine for sharing! For more information about Catherine Dumontet Photographe, please visit her WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile or head straight to her website.
