Are you recently engaged, or are you knee-deep in wedding planning and feeling overwhelmed about how to personalize your big day? I love getting to know my couples over a strong cup of coffee or healthy pour of wine, and hearing about how you met. Was it a chance meeting, or complete love at first sight? Are you looking forward to spoiling your closest family and friends with a cheerful and heartfelt celebration of your love and new life together?
When you open your wedding invitation, I want you to say "This is so us!" and your guests will know it too and begin to count down the days to your wedding day. I want your grandmother to say "I wasn't quite sure what your invitation would look like, but when I opened the envelope, it was the most beautiful invitation I've ever seen. You are going to be a beautiful bride."
Caitlin Creative Works offers full service design services for your personal stationery, save the dates, and invitations. If you're reading this, and your invitations are already in the hands of your guests, I would love to help you design the most perfect day-of-details for your ceremony and wedding reception. We specialize in the details that help bring your wedding or special event vision to life: programs, menus, escort and place cards, favors; hand painted signage and custom-constructed displays.
I believe that every single couple is unique and love the challenge of merging your two design styles together. Maybe you both are on the same page about what you like - but you just need a little help figuring it out!
Are you both drawn to simple, classic details with a dash of whimsy and a well-placed element of prep? Or, does your fiancé go crazy over mid-century modern architecture, but you're a little more Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's than Peggy Olson in Mad Men. Let's solve that together and create paper goods and signage that embody what a marriage is really all about - a happy intersection of you both that in turn brings out the best in each other.
I would love to get to know you two and see how we can make your wedding day personal and memorable. My design process is refined for an effortless and stress-free experience in what on the surface can feel very overwhelming.
I can't wait to meet you!

We had an absolutely awful experience working with this vendor. Our save the dates were already designed by a different person and all we needed done was simply to have them as well as the envelopes printed (which required us letting her know which font we’d like to use). Our planner suggested we go with Third Clover/Caitlin so upon her advice we decided to go with her, despite her high price point.
We did not receive our order until 10 days after when she had originally promised them to us. When we did receive them, everything was a disaster. The cards themselves were missing various ink colors and looked patchy and awful. Our names were also totally off centered on the cards (despite us having sent the final design file to them, which did not need to be edited in any way). The addresses on the envelopes were misaligned, with some addresses on the bottoms of the envelope and others to the right side (instead of all of them centered). One of them even had the return address halfway printed on the back flap and halfway on the top front. We had also asked for extra blank envelopes which we did not receive, and had issues with the paper quality not being what we wanted. I was furious as they were very glaring issues and it was very obvious Caitlin did not quality check ANY of the items.
When we contacted her, she said in a voicemail that the items would be fixed and that the paper quality was an upgrade, but that she could downgrade it if we'd like. She blamed the issues on the printing company and said there would be a further delay as she would have a tough time getting in touch with her account exec there since it was the holidays. I found this to be troubling, as she had told our planner that she is printing them in-house on a new machine she recently acquired, but this obviously was not true.
The reprints then took several days but were fine other than one envelope being missing which we had to pull from the old stack of misaligned ones (annoying!).
Once we received the new batch, we had our planner contact her about a discount on our services, since not only did she not print them in-house as she had previously stated (which obviously caused us to incur even more of a markup), but she also did not do the ONLY thing her job then required, which was to quality check the items. She refused a discount and again lied to our planner saying she upgraded our paper the second time around for free instead of charging us for it, when in reality her voicemail said it'd be a downgrade (from cotton based paper to standard card stock). She then laid into our planner and was extremely rude about the entire situation when confronted about it all, telling our planner that it looks like she won’t be working with her again (as if our top tier, top rated planner would ever even think to work with such an individual again after this experience).
Needless to say, I would never recommend working with such an unprofessional individual who not only lies about her services, but then also does not even bother doing her job AND still expects to be fully compensated. It was shocking to work with a vendor who operated in this manner, especially considering this entire industry is based on word of mouth. With that said, I would caution anyone to steer clear of using this vendor and take your business and hard-earned money elsewhere to someone who actually cares about the quality of the products and services they provide.
