Vintage Industrial Wedding Inspiration (8)

Today’s lovely styled shoot brought to us by Something New for I Do is the perfect blend of whimsy and refinement! Here’s more about the shoot from the team at Something New for I Do:

Inspired by a palette of copper and pale pink, wedding planner and designer Lisa Formaro of The Sweet Trend dreamt up this wedding inspiration to compliment The Corner District’s vintage industrial vibe. We loved the juxtaposition of soft hues and wood + metal touches!

See more after the cut!

Pale pinks graced this inspiration in the form of fabrics – a sweet barely blush wedding gown from Fabulous Frocks of Atlanta, as well as throw pillows and covers for the lounge seating area (with a stunning DIY boxwood wall backdrop). Industrial copper chairs and a bench for the lounge popped against the wood farm tables and original hardwood floors and ceilings.

The perfect place setting was created with gray plates, copper silverware, watercolor menus glamed up with copper glitter, custom laser cut glitter place cards, and a napkin tied up with a copper wire ribbon. Copper votive holders and centerpieces set the tone for a romantic reception dinner, with copper prisms adorned with florals from Stylish Stems hanging beautifully above.

Other favorite touches included the wedding cake from Cakes By Carissa with each tier offering something unique – the sparkly sprinkle layer and copper layers were almost too pretty to eat! The Moscow Mule mugs also played into the color palette and served as the perfect glass choice for some festive signature drinks.

Finally, Lisa’s thank you gift boxes for the bridal party were too cute: copper and wood flower boxes served as the vessel, and were filled with sweet treats and pretty candles, topped with a fresh rose, tied with a ribbon!
